The Genesis of an Idea

Scaler ERP is the result of teamwork led by Sergii Tymchuk. He is a visionary leader and entrepreneur who founded Scaler ERP and serves as the CEO of Computools. Sergii’s childhood dream was to create conditions where every entrepreneur could manage their business as if playing a real-time strategy game. To do this, he needed an appropriate platform. At that time, existing platforms on the market required integration costs starting at $25,000, and their ROI advantages were not immediately clear. This led to the idea of developing a platform that would be easy to integrate. In 2021, Sergii developed a concept for implementing such a platform by decomposing metrics and displaying their parameters on the screen. This idea was based on the knowledge and systems created at Computools, which he managed to build at the cost of hard work. The challenge was that huge amounts of data had to be managed. Sergii came up with a methodology that included:

• Decomposition of the metrics tree
• Linking the metrics tree to the organisational structure
• Creating job descriptions for employees and displaying their performance

This methodology created the сloud app that any entrepreneur could customize for their business. The company involved the best UX engineers with experience in designing complex systems to implement this idea. Together with them, the team started designing Scaler ERP in 2022. The cloud app user experience design was completed in 2023.

Sergii Bielokon, an entrepreneur with SMB experience (he owned car wash facilities and retail stores), joined the team and contributed to the development of the product, ensuring its accessibility and ease of use for small businesses. His experience was key to adapting the platform to the needs of small businesses.
The goal was to make it possible for every entrepreneur to systemise their business, even without a thorough knowledge of MBA, OKR, Lean and other systems. Thanks to its intuitive approach, the Scaler ERP allows entrepreneurs to organise their business without complex theoretical knowledge.

The Software Engineering phase of the future cloud app, according to their design, began in 2023.

At the beginning of 2024, the team introduced the software architecture, focusing on creating structured approaches for business systematization. The foundation of this concept lies in a critical challenge: businesses often grow by mirroring existing processes rather than developing a clear, data-driven strategy. As a result, decision-makers lack a complete picture of their operations and struggle to optimize performance effectively.

To address this, Sergii and his team developed a suite of interdependent business solutions, each designed to bring clarity, structure, and efficiency to organizational processes:

In the second quarter of 2024, development began on a cross-platform solution based on the designed architecture. The core solutions were developed by the end of 2024 as an MVP.

In 2025 the Computools’ team is currently testing the concept that has already been implemented in Scaler ERP Cloud App. Engineers and analytics conduct testing together with entrepreneurs, improve the platform, and bring it to perfection, taking into account all the details. The development of Scaler ERP Cloud App is planned to be continuous, with ongoing improvements to make it exceptional for users and optimized for small businesses.
